IT Support Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and assist employees with a range of hardware, software, and network-related issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users across hardware, software, and networking systems.

  • Set up and configure workstations, ensuring new employees have a seamless onboarding experience.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and security systems.

  • Monitor system performance and network stability, responding swiftly to any disruptions.

  • Maintain and document support activities using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.

  • Implement and administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for system configuration management.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining secure VPN connections for remote access.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Windows Server environments and IT infrastructure management.

  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems (preferred).

  • Solid troubleshooting skills for software and hardware issues.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
