About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and assist employees with a range of hardware, software, and network-related issues. Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users across hardware, software, and networking systems.
Set up and configure workstations, ensuring new employees have a seamless onboarding experience.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and security systems.
Monitor system performance and network stability, responding swiftly to any disruptions.
Maintain and document support activities using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
Implement and administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for system configuration management.
Assist in setting up and maintaining secure VPN connections for remote access.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Windows Server environments and IT infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts.
At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems (preferred).
Solid troubleshooting skills for software and hardware issues.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
